Routes into Languages: Words into Languages

What you'll be doing

Pupils will need to give their favourite word or phrase in a foreign language (any language) and write 50 words in English to explain why it is their favourite.

Pupils are encouraged to be creative in form and illustration.

Competition Structure

1. Schools must organise their own in-house competition to select the best 5 entries. These will be entered in the formal competition. (5 entries per school maximum).
   
   
2. Teachers will submit their pupils' entries to Padlet directly using a password.
   
   
3. Teachers should enter pupils' submission with the following format:
   Entry number, Year group of entry, name of school (for example: Entry 1, Year 8, Hogwarts).
   
   
4. Schools are then invited to vote for the best entry.
   
   
5. Teachers should organise the vote with their pupils in class by giving "thumbs up" to their favourite publications.
