In collaboration with Language Fest North West, the Goethe Institut has offered to provide travel bursaries for any state schools who would like to attend their Careers Roadshow in Keele.

Any North West state schools who would like to attend should register on the Goethe Institut website and answer 'Yes' to Question 8 of the registration form (Will you be taking part in the Roadshow as part of the Festival of Languages North West).

About the Roadshow

What career opportunities can open up when you learn German at school or university? The Career Roadshows highlights just how diverse and relevant German can be for both personal and professional development.

Together with Keele University, the Goethe Institut invites you to come along to a varied and engaging day featuring:

- interactive workshops

- inspiring panel discussions

- short talks

- a small careers fair with the chance to speak directly with companies and institutions

The event is designed for secondary school students aged 14 and above, as well as university students from the UK. The aim is to inspire young people to learn German by showing them the real-world value of the language in professional life.
